This is another piece I created from a photograph I took, painted a decade later with a different quality. I love how the bulbs still seemed to hold their light, even when unplugged and worn down. The peeling enamel paint reminded me of the quiet, natural decay we marvel at in nature, like lichen on rocks or pecked-over mussel shells.
