Short Bio

I am a 73 year old woman that has been creating art for the past 60 years. As the decades have passed with marriages, children and now grandchildren, I have remained committed to learning about art and how to create it. It is such a true north for me that my entire life has navigated around it. I have tried many mediums, have had some truly great teachers, and have met other wonderful artists on this journey. All and all I am very grateful for the life path I have chosen.

Statement

My work is a visual record of my inspirations, explorations, challenges, and growth over many decades.

In the process of creating art I have come to better understand myself and my connections to the world around me.

Now, in the autumn of my life, I continue to find meaning and purpose by sharing the experience of creating images and objects that speak to me and also to others.
