I’ve mentioned the pigeons that nested in the Horseshoe before—they were such a significant part of my experience at the Boneyard. As I painted, I could sit and mingle with the flock while they cooed, and it was incredibly comforting. In the background, what looks like a sideways "B" is actually one of the early versions of an "M" for McDonald's. I believe the backside of the Silver Slipper Gambling Hall is visible on the left.
