I was always chasing those moments when the light would strike and ignite the old neon. This piece captures the bottom of a shamrock from Fitzgerald's Casino and Hotel and is the fourth and final painting I created from a photograph. Cameras can access places that a paintbrush sometimes cannot, and it was just as thrilling to capture the boneyard with a camera, as many photographers can attest.
