Old Studio Chair

When the weather is rougher at Eli's the painting moves into his well established old studio on the top of the hill. Eli goes there every day and paints, listening to old records and watching the sky dance by while he creates. I love how worn and cozy everything is in his studio. Warmed by his pot belly stove, old rugs on oxblood dirt floors we spend hours recording the passage of time with our paint brushes. Here I have rendered his tattered shell chair and bookshelf with a glimpse of the clouds moving by his big picture window. Delightful place to be.
