The ruins in Antigua are so incredibly stunning. I sat for hours working on this piece. Normally in Guatemala I would work on a red paper. Here I used a sienna paper that helped with the color of the stone. I only did two of these. One is a large study on blue paper that shows the circled shadows on the ground also.
