Gouache and Acrylic painting on birch cradleboard.

I became fascinated by what my friends and neighbors collected and how it reflected who they were almost as much as a portrait does. I never changed or altered the compositions but just photographed them and worked from there. It was a very rich and rewarding experience for me and for the people whose collections I chose to depict.
